Officially announced by the Nissan brand in July, the Nissan Juke is being dropped from the U.S. Nissan lineup. We are as sad as you are to see this cute little crossover go, but let’s say a few words in honor of this model before they’re all gone from our side of the Atlantic.

According to carscoops.com, this change isn’t a huge surprise in the American automotive world, but it’s a little disappointing nonetheless. Thankfully, the Nissan Kicks and several other great new vehicles are hitting our lot soon, so we still have plenty of great new car options for you.

The Nissan Juke was first introduced in 2010 and sales climbed past 38,000 per year when it was at its peak. Just last month, Nissan announced the millionth Nissan Juke had been built at the Sunderland factory in the UK, and this model appears to continue thriving in the European market where about 95,000 Nissan Juke models were sold last year.

Crossovers and SUVs continue to be at the forefront of the Nissan brand, so we are sure we aren’t seeing the last of vehicles of this type. We know our customers love the height and space of an SUV, but for 2019, efficiency is also more important than ever. Family friendliness, safety, and versatility are all key factors in upcoming Nissan models, plus premium features for your non-premium-priced cars.

We currently still have the Nissan Juke in stock, so be sure to act fast if this vehicle interests you! We have plenty of other new and used Nissan models that we think you’ll love as well. Come by our Nissan dealership today at 90-100 US Highway 1 North in Avenel, NJ.
