2020 Nissan Rogue Sport

Two of our most popular models for 2020 are the Nissan Rogue and the Nissan Rogue Sport. Customers frequently ask us at Sansone Nissan what the difference is between the two, so we’re here to set the record straight. While these two models are similar in features, their two distinct sizes inside and out serve the needs of two different types of drivers.

The Nissan Rogue is the original model, first introduced in 2008. It has captured numerous safety and quality awards in the years since then in the compact SUV class. It has space for 5 people, plus cargo room in the back sufficient for family road trips with 39.3 cubic feet of cargo volume.

Roughly nine years later, the Nissan Rogue Sport came along. It had so much in common with the previous model, yet it served an entirely different population of drivers – and still does. Nissan automakers didn’t want to remove either model from the lineup, instead offering our customers the best of both worlds with two Nissan Rogue options!

The Nissan Rogue Sport is more compact, which makes it ideal for city drivers who consistently park in tight spaces and drive in busy traffic. This is also ideal for new drivers or college students who don’t need the extra size but appreciate the comfort and convenience of a subcompact SUV.

Both models include the availability of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features like rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, blind-spot warning, and lane departure warning. If efficiency, reliability, and convenience are your jam, both models have excellent value, and we’d love to show you them in person in Avenel. Come see us.
