Contrary to popular belief, Nissan cars aren’t just your everyday family vehicles, as proven by the 2020 Nissan GT-R. This model is back for its 50th anniversary, and it’s got more power, a special edition, and other thrills we know our racing enthusiasts will appreciate.
New for this year in the Nissan GT-R are some slightly tweaked turbochargers and a special 50th Anniversary Edition. The base model of the Nissan GT-R encompasses that true performance car feel with revised turbocharger tuning, burnished exhaust tips, and a different look for the 20-inch forged wheels. It gets up to 565 horsepower and 467 lb.-ft. of torque.
The special 50th Anniversary Edition gives three additional color options that reference the Nissan GT-R history of Japanese racing: Bayside blue, Pearl White, and Super Silver, each with special stripes and a unique gray leather interior. For even more power, the Nissan GT-R Track Edition and Nissan GT-R Nismo are both fantastic options as well for more horsepower and faster acceleration.
A complete list of interior convenience, comfort, and entertainment options is not yet available, but we have a feeling the model will continue to have that sporty feel and high functionality we’ve seen in previous model years.
