The Sansone Nissan service center is prepared to diagnose vehicle issues and get repairs taken care of quickly and efficiently. If you’re having an issue related to vehicle fluids, you shouldn’t delay because they are essential to your safety on the road. Here are the seven most important vehicle fluids and what they do for your Nissan car:

  1. Oil – You must change this out every 3,000 miles or three times per year. It lubricates the powertrain of your vehicle, and old, congealed oil can cause low efficiency and a host of other performance issues. When you stop by our Nissan service center for an oil change, we’ll be sure to give the rest of your vehicle a thorough once-over too.
  2. Radiator fluid – Also known as antifreeze or coolant. This fluid keeps your engine cool and protects from overheating. It’s usually orange or green-colored for easy identification in the case of a leak.
  3. Transmission fluid – This fluid lubricates the transmission, which is the part of your car responsible for shifting from one gear to the next.
  4. Brake fluid – For safe breaking and minimal wear and tear, your brakes need lubrication, too. Well maintained brake pads help keep you safe on the road.
  5. Power steering fluid – Without this fluid, it would be a lot harder to steer your vehicle.
  6. Air conditioner coolant – Your AC will only blow out warm air if you’re low on AC coolant. Make sure you have enough when summer starts to roll around again.
  7. Washer fluid – If you’re all out of washer fluid, you may have difficulties cleaning your windshield for optimum visibility.

Come see us in Avenel whenever you need your fluids restored or any other vehicle repairs. We are your Nissan dealers in Jersey and we’ve got your back.
