The Nissan Altima offers two engine options. The base is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which churns out a mighty 179 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. Top trims equip a 3.5-liter V6 under the hood, and it delivers 270 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Regardless of which engine you opt for, an Xtronic CVT® comes outfitted, and some trims even integrate steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters with manual shift mode.
