We offer a variety of new Nissan models here at Sansone Nissan. One vehicle that has always set itself apart is the Nissan Rogue Sport. And according to some information we learned at the Chicago Auto Show, this vehicle is about to get so much better for the new model year.

The Nissan Rogue Sport gets a fresh look for 2020, comprised of a new Vmotion grille and colors, redesigned rear taillamps, and a healthy dose of additional standard equipment. The model boasts a completely unique design personality. Nitro Lime Metallic and Monarch Orange Metallic are among the color choices for this year, and under the hood, the 141-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and Xtronic CVT transmission are standard equipment. Front-wheel and all-wheel drive are the drivetrains offered.

Even the base model is set to have driver-assist features, thanks to Nissan Safety Shield 360:

  • Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection
  • Rear automatic braking
  • Lane departure warning
  • Blind spot warning
  • Rear cross traffic alert
  • High beam assist

In addition to these amenities is the availability of ProPILOT Assist and the rear door alert system.

According to Scott Shirley, the VP of CMM and Marketing Operations, Nissan North America, Inc., “Our Rogue Sport is a critical vehicle in Nissan’s popular CUV lineup, slotted strategically between the Nissan Kicks and Rogue.”

We look forward to learning more about this model, including its new MSRP price in the coming months.
