We love when new Nissan cars are in production, or better yet, on the way to our dealership. As your nearest Nissan dealer in Avenel, NJ, we do our best to keep you apprised of the newest models coming soon. One that we recently caught wind of is the 2019 Nissan Maxima.
The 2019 Nissan Maxima is set to debut later this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, where it will be presented with a refreshed exterior and additional safety. While a lot of the major information is being held until the big day, we can expect this model to have several other upgrades from previous years.
The biggest piece of information so far is that the 2019 Nissan Maxima features the Nissan Safety Shield 360 safety suite as an option for extra technology. This includes six safety and driver-assist systems for our customers to utilize while on the road:
- Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection
- Blind spot warning
- Rear cross traffic alert
- Lane departure warning
- High beam assist
- Rear automatic braking
Images released indicate the front of the vehicle receives a redesign, plus new LED lighting in the front and back. We expect to see a new infotainment system and improved software in this upcoming vehicle as well.
The company president stated earlier this year that the new Nissan Maxima “has a very important role” in our lineup, which gives us the inclination that there are many upgrades still to be revealed.
